The bicyclist who was killed when she was struck last week in Mobile County was identified on Monday by state authorities.

The victim in the June 10 wreck on Dauphin Island Parkway was Christine D. Arwood, 34, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Joshua Thompson. She was from Theodore.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Arwood about 12 miles north of Dauphin Island left the scene, Thompson said, and authorities do not know the make or model of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on the incident or the driver’s identity was asked to call state troopers at 251-660-2300.
