According to Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, city landscaping and public work crews were still spending “six to seven days a week” picking up debris from May 8′s tornadoes nearly three weeks after the fact.

Five Points, Blossomwood and Old Town were some of the hardest areas hit around town, the mayor said at a council meeting in May.
