Starbucks new drink, sandwich combos starts at $5

It’s a summer of meal deals and Starbucks is next in line.

Following the lead of McDonalds and Burger King, Starbucks is developing its own value menu.

According to ABC News, customers can order any tall, 12-ounce iced or hot coffee or tea with a butter croissant for $5, or upgrade to any savory breakfast sandwich — sausage, cheddar and egg sandwich; bacon, gouda and egg sandwich; turkey bacon, cheddar and egg white sandwich; or chicken, maple butter and egg sandwich — for $6.

Customers can also opt to pay more for a larger beverage size or customize the food offerings. The Pairings Menu will be available for a limited time and only at select locations, the Seattle-based chain said.
