3 charged with murder in shooting death of 16-year-old Eufaula boy

Three men have been charged in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy in Eufaula earlier this week.

Devin Tayshone Brooks, 19, Aakari Jaequon Harris, 20 and J’siyah Narzavius Warren, 20, were arrested on Tuesday.

Police and the Barbour County Coroner’s Office are not releasing the name of the teen victim.

The trio is charged with murder and discharging a firearm into an occupied building. Brooks is also charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.

Eufaula police were dispatched just before 2:30 p.m. Monday to a report of shots fired in the area of Spruce Circle, said Chief Danny Christ.

The young victim was taken to Medical Center Barbour and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Christ said the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident, but no motive has been disclosed.
