Here’s something to know as summer takes off:

It’s still early in the big summer travel season but security officers at the Huntsville International Airport have already found six firearms in passenger check-in screening.

Some were loaded; some weren’t. Some people thought empty was good enough; it isn’t. Others seem so used to their guns they don’t think – didn’t think – about where their guns can’t go.
