Lauderdale County authorities say a Wilson, N.C. man sent obscene images of himself to a 15-year-old girl and attempted to get her to meet him.

According to court documents, Dylan Smith, 20, has been charged with 11 counts of transmitting obscene material and one count of electronic solicitation of a child.

The investigation began following a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Smith was arrested Monday in North Carolina.

He has been booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
