3 ways to see the Budweiser Clydesdales in Birmingham this summer

The famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be returning to the Birmingham area this month, giving the public three opportunities to see them.

The team of horses will make an appearance at several public events running June 15 through June 21 in Birmingham, Homewood and Trussville as part of its national tour celebrating Budweiser’s 14-year partnership with nonprofit organization Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving.

The Clydesdales’ first appearance open to the public will be at the Homewood Brews and Bridles event on June 15 from from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Homewood City Hall, according to Adams Beverages. The event will include a full-hitch parade along a special route as well as a Folds of Honor scholarship check presentation a local recipient, games, music and more.

On June 20, the “The Lakeview Triple Play: Beer, Baseball, and Budweiser Clydesdales” will kick off at 3 p.m. with a full-hitch parade at Pepper Place South on 29th Street South. Lastly, the Budweiser Clydesdales’ will have a single horse appearance at Trussville Social from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 21.

The Clydesdales will also appear at a private Folds of Honor Flag Day event on June 14 at Top Golf in Birmingham.
