Birmingham chef Adam Evans dishes on the newly opened Current Charcoal Grill

Birmingham’s Adam Evans, the James Beard Award-winning chef of Automatic Seafood and Oysters, recently opened his second restaurant in the Parkside district.

The restaurant, Current Charcoal Grill, features Asian-inspired cuisine crafted by Evans and his partner, New Zealand-born chef Luke Joseph. Joseph previously worked as Evans’ brunch chef at Automatic.
