If you were over the age of 10 in the 1980s, you likely played, skated, dated or went to the mall with Asia’s music playing.

The English pop-rock band has been called a supergroup because it is made up from successful solo musicians and musicians from other groups, such as Yes and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Asia is out on it’s the Heat of the Moment tour in summer 2024 and will stop in two cities in Alabama in July, Mobile and Huntsville.

The group’s eponymous album Asia debuted in 1982 and remains the band’s bestselling of all time. The album’s lead single, “Heat of the Moment” is its best-known hit, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and No. 4 on the Billboard Top 40 Chart.
