Former Auburn linebacker Cam Riley is transferring to Florida State, 247Sports’ Zach Blostein reported Wednesday.

Riley’s decision to join Mike Norvell and the Seminoles comes after having previously committed to NC State in February, but then backing off his pledge on April 25.

After four seasons at Auburn, Riley, alongside Auburn defensive back Donovan Kaufman, entered the transfer portal on Jan. 16.

During the 2023 season, Riley appeared in all 13 of Auburn’s games and logged one start. Riley went on to tally 32 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks for the Tigers last fall.

Across his entire career at Auburn, Riley played in 46 games, recorded 120 tackles, eight tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks.

A native of Evergreen and a product of Hillcrest High School, Riley came out of the high school ranks rated as a 4-star linebacker in the class of 2020.
