Police respond to shooting outside Drake’s mansion; Rapper not injured
A shooting near Drake’s Toronto home resulted in a man being transported to the hospital with serious injuries on Tuesday.
Toronto Police confirmed the incident in a X post Tuesday. A man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, and a suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, according to the social media post by police.
Police confirmed to City News that Drake was not the person injured. The shooting happened just after 2 a.m.
Officers taped off an area on the street and are expected to provide additional details later on Tuesday.
Drake is currently at the center of an ongoing public feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. The two have been exchanging songs on a near-daily basis, and both rappers have released a series of diss tracks aimed at one another.
