Homewood residents are preparing to vote on a plan approved last fall by the city council: hiring a full-time city manager and reducing the council from 11 members to four.

The referendum is expected to take place sometime this summer, according to previous comments from Homewood Mayor Patrick McCluskey. In the meantime, here are some things you may need to know as the effort moves forward.
