20-year-old charged in weekend Montgomery triple shooting that killed 1, injured 2
A suspect has been charged in connection with a weekend shooting in Montgomery that left a woman dead, and two men injured.
Zykese Boyd, 20, is charged with murder in the Saturday slaying of 28-year-old Daneshia McMillan.
He is also charged with two counts of attempted murder.
Maj. Saba Coleman said officers and fire medics were dispatched at 3:10 a.m. Saturday to the 5100 block of Loblolly Pine Drive on a report of a person shot. They arrived to find three victims wounded.
McMillan was pronounced dead on the scene.
Two additional male victims were taken to the hospital. Coleman said one sustained life-threatening injuries and the other had non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details have been released and a motive has not been disclosed.
Boyd is being held without bond in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
