Port City Floats LLC paid $599,000 for a 16,000-square-foot warehouse at 1700 Midway Ave., in Mobile, according to John M. Delchamps of Merrill P. Thomas Co., who represented both sides of the transaction.

Port City Floats is a family-run business founded in May 2020 that is fully immersed in Mardi Gras. The company offers float rentals year round and for Mardi Gras events, and provides rental space for float storage and work spaces to build floats.
