Fort Morgan residents ready for hearing into annexation requests

A legislative annexation of 16 parcels of unincorporated Fort Morgan into the City of Gulf Shores has erupted into a community-wide concern and creating confusion but remains in flux until after a public hearing.
That hearing is scheduled to occur at 2 p.m. on Friday at Shell Banks Baptist Church and is expected to be livestreamed on the Fort Morgan Civic Association’s Facebook page.
