One person is dead following a fiery crash on Interstate 22 in Walker County.

Alabama State Troopers said the single-vehicle wreck involving a commercial vehicle happened at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday near the 49-mile marker.

Walker County Coroner Joey Vick confirmed the fatality. The victim has not yet been identified.

Senior Trooper Cody Farrar said all lanes are block and will be for an undetermined amount of time.
