Parents say they need more schools in Huntsville’s Big Cove community

Does the Huntsville City Schools’ proposed $600 million, 10-year capital plan fully address the growth in the Big Cove area of the city?

That was one of the questions raised at a public forum about the plan at Huntsville High School. Parents also expressed concerns about the impact of students being in two different feeder patterns at a consolidated Blossomwood Elementary, which will be absorbing students from the proposed closing of Chapman Elementary.
