Could Hoover be looking for another provider as widespread AmWaste issues persist?
AmWaste customers throughout Jefferson County are once again watching trash pile up outside their doors weeks after the company launched a new pickup schedule aimed at reducing service issues.
“My recent problems started the week after it was announced that they were changing our pickup dates,” said Point Greystone resident Greg Phillips. “The very first day they failed to pick it up. Two days later they did pick it up but not again that week. This week they have failed to show up at all. I have complained to city hall three times now to no avail. It seems to be getting worse rather than better.”
