A Tuscaloosa teen was killed, and two others injured, in a weekend crash in Tuscaloosa County.

The wreck happened at 3:33 p.m. Saturday on Old Lock 15 Road near Howse Camp Road, said Sr. Trooper Brandon Bailey. That location is 10 miles northeast of Tuscaloosa.

Troopers do not release the names of teen fatality victims, but Bailey said the victim was 18.

The teen was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer that overturned, left the roadway and struck a ditch. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, Bailey said.

The teen and two juvenile passengers were taken to an area hospital where the 18 year old was pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing.
