A search is underway for a boater who fell overboard into a creek in Eufaula, authorities said.

“The Eufaula police and fire departments are currently undergoing search and rescue efforts for a man that fell over board near the Cheneyhatchee Bridge. Houston County dive team has been called out,” Eufaula police said Wednesday afternoon on social media.

The boater was with three other men when sudden wind knocked the vessel over, police told WTVM.
