The Alabama Department of Environmental Management opened a new, 15,000 square foot office in Mobile Thursday.

“This new facility is the result of 13 years of collaboration by a number of parties who united behind the mission of protecting Alabama’s coastal areas,” ADEM Director Lance LeFleur said in a news release after the event. “It really was an earnest team effort, and we are grateful that many of our partners could be with us today in celebrating this important milestone.”
