One person is dead in an industrial incident Wednesday in Huntsville.

Don Webster of the Huntsville Emergency Medical Services (HEMSI) said first responders were called to the scene at 11309 South Memorial Parkway at about 10:30 a.m.

A man was killed at the scene when “several” pieces of granite fell on him, Webster said.

The man’s name has not yet been released.

Several agencies were on the scene before noon.
