A search is underway for the suspect in the death of another man in Carbon Hill.

Lonny Paul Tatum, 49, is sought in the Tuesday slaying of 58-year-old Stanley Webb.

Few details have been released surrounding the killing.

Authorities flocked to the crime scene midday Tuesday in the 500 block of Mays Road.

No details have been released, and repeated efforts to obtain information from Carbon Hill police since Tuesday have been unsuccessful.

Police on Wednesday said in a Facebook post that Tatum should be considered armed and dangerous.
