Three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Russell County.

Alabama State Troopers identified two of the fatality victims as Riley S. Witt, 20, and Shennan N. Darst, 19. Both lived in Cummings, Ga.

The third victim was 18 years old. Troopers do not release the names of anyone 18 or under.

The crash happened 7:50 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 431, about 14 miles south of Phenix City.

Trooper Sgt. Jeremy Burkett said the 18-year-old was driving a Toyota 4Runner that left the road, struck a ditch, and overturned.

The teen driver and both passengers were pronounced dead on the scene.
