ASWA names 3 boys basketball player of year finalists in each class
Buckhorn sophomore Caleb Holt is one of just five returning finalists for basketball player of the year honors in his classification in 2024.
Holt, who led the Bucks to their second straight state title earlier this month in Birmingham, is the only player who has a chance to repeat as a player of the year.
The other returning finalists are Central-Phenix City’s Jacoby Hill, Mountain Brook’s Ty Davis, Valley’s Cam Dooley and Covenant Christian’s Trey Kellogg.
