Dairy Queen Free Cone Day is back: When to get free ice cream in March

Free Cone Day is returning to Dairy Queen.

The ice cream chain is inviting customers to celebrate the warm weather on March 19 with a free frozen treat.

“Longer days and budding blooms signal spring’s arrival,” Dairy Queen says on its website. “We like to think of it, the start of Treat SZN. Even if you (like us) enjoyed our world-famous DQ soft serve in the depths of winter, a cone just hits differently when the ground begins to thaw.”

How to get a free Dairy Queen ice cream cone

Free Cone Day will take place at participating restaurants nationwide on the first day of spring– March 19.

Customers can grab a free small vanilla cone at participating U.S. locations while supplies last. The stores must be independent shops, not mall locations. Free cone day lasts all day, with one limit one per person. The deal isn’t valid on delivery or mobile orders.
