Where is Auburn women’s basketball projected for March Madness?

Back on The Plains, the Auburn women’s basketball team will likely spend Sunday glued to the television — first to watch Auburn’s men’s basketball team compete for an SEC title, followed by learning their own postseason fate.

After compiling a 20-11 (8-8 SEC) record on the season, Johnnie Harris has the Tigers in position to make their first NCAA Tournament appearance in five seasons. That opportunity comes after Auburn won its first SEC Tournament game since 2020 with its win over Arkansas on March 7.

And while that win over the Razorbacks likely cemented the Tigers’ NCAA Tournament bid, a team can never be too sure until it hears its name called on Selection Sunday. For Harris and the Tigers, that’ll come Sunday at 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN.

Before then, here’s a look at where a handful of bracketologists have Auburn projected:

ESPN: No. 11 Auburn vs. No. 6 Louisville (Corvallis)

The Athletic: No. 10 Auburn vs. No. 7 Iowa State (Los Angeles)

Her Hoop Stats: No. 11 Auburn vs. No. 6 Creighton (South Bend)
