The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory at 1:13 a.m. on Saturday in effect until 8 a.m. for Perry, Chilton, Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Dallas, Autauga, Lowndes, Elmore, Montgomery, Macon and Lee counties.

The weather service describes, “Visibility less than one mile in locally dense fog.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” describes the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
