Woman killed in two-vehicle crash near Theodore, ALEA says
A 43-year-old Theodore woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday night, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said Monday.
The crash occurred about 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Bellingrath Road near Deer Creek Road, about four miles south of Theodore in Mobile County.
A 2023 Ford Mustang driven by Jada L. Farish of Theodore collided head-on with a 2021 Toyota 4Runner driven by 70-year-old David T. Horne, also of Theodore. Farish was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Horne was transported to Springhill Medical Center in Mobile for treatment. The extent of his injuries was not readily available.
ALEA said the crash remains under investigation.
