If you’re looking to adopt, this could be your lucky month. Throughout March, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society (GBHS) is offering $17 adoptions as a part of a St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

“We want every animal that comes through GBHS to find their FURever home! With puppy and kitten season drawing near and overcrowding in shelters across the country, our $17 adoption will make it even easier for families to find their perfect match,” said Allison Black Cornelius, GBHS CEO in a recent release. “This also offers an opportunity for our community to come together and support their local shelter. Adopting now not only provides a pet with a loving home but also helps us make room for others in need.”
