Three teams from The Huntsville Times coverage area finished their seasons in Birmingham at the AHSAA State Finals with Hazel Green walking away with an unprecedented seventh consecutive championship. The other two finalists came oh, so close to leaving with a blue map.

The other two teams on the final Huntsville Times girls Power 5 missed making the trip to the BJCC Legacy Arena, but not by much, and had impressive seasons.
