Lynyrd Skynryd and ZZ Top together for The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour: How to get tickets

Last summer, Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top kicked off their first co-headlining tour and it has a name honoring the hits of these two rock titans: The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour.

The tour is headed to Huntsville, Ala., April 6, where the bands, along with opener Black Stone Cherry, will play in the Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center.

The 2024 leg of the tour will cover 36 cities, ending in September 2024 in Ridgefield, Wash.

You can find tickets at StubHub, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster.

Although the band’s original members have died, “Lynyrd Skynyrd rocks on with a current line-up featuring Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark ‘Sparky’ Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Carol Chase and Stacy Michelle,” according to a press release.

Johnny Van Zant, the younger brother of Lynyrd Skynyrd co-founder and former lead singer Ronnie Van Zant, says the band’s catalog of more than 60 albums is a legacy he wants to continue to showcase.

“It’s about the legacy of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and what it stands for, what the fans are all about,” he said in a press release. “There’s nothing like getting out there playing a great show with Skynyrd and seeing people love this music.”
