1818 Farms unveils new 50 state collection ‘Where I Bloom’

They say that no matter where you go, you carry a little of your home with you.

Mooresville’s 1818 Farms is introducing a new collection that carries the idea a step further – “Where I Bloom” assembles pressed flowers in the shapes of all fifty states.

Using more than 50 species of flowers from the 1818 Farms property, the artwork is available on prints, notecards, flour sack towels, stickers, T-shirts and coasters.

“It has been a joy seeing our customers connect to the ‘Where I Bloom’ line,” 1818 Farms owner Natasha McCrary said. “I enjoy hearing the reason that someone is drawn to purchasing a specific state and why it is a place that they or someone they love truly bloom. The ‘Where I Bloom’ line is a way to display the beauty of our pressed flowers while also connecting with the places that mean the most to anyone.”

Known for its line of award-winning bath and beauty products, 1818 Farms has about 15,000 plants on the property. The collection is an expansion of the company’s zero waste initiative.

But the idea behind the products is for each person to celebrate the personal connection to their state – whether they were born there, or adopted it as their own.

After each state piece was designed, 1818 Farms then used professional photography at the highest resolution, which was used to produce all products in the line.

For example, Giclee prints are available using pigment-based inks for the most vibrant, true-to-life reproduction.
