Emergency missing child alert issued for 14-year-old north Alabama girl

North Alabama authorities are looking for a 14-year-old girl last seen Monday night.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has issued an emergency missing child alert for Emily Gott, 14, from Limestone County.

She is described as standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. She has blonde or strawberry blonde hair and green eyes, She has fresh scratches and cuts on her arms and legs.

She was reportedly last seen at about 11 p.m. Monday wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, shorts, and pink Croc shoes near Wooley Springs Road in Athens.
