A motorcyclist was killed in a Sunday-night crash in Bessemer.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the fatality victim as Derrick Dewayne Taylor. He was 61 and lived in Brighton.

Authorities said the two-vehicle collision happened at 8:23 p.m. Sunday at Ninth Avenue North and 25th Street North.

Taylor was pronounced dead on the scene at 8:47 p.m.

Bessemer police are investigating.
