Country music legend’s son gives update in battle for life

The family of late country music star Loretta Lynn has gave some encouraging news about her son Ernest Ray Lynn.

On Monday, his wife, Crystal Lynn, shared a photo on social media of her husband riding a motorcycle.

“Look who’s feeling good enough to take our first bike ride of the season,” Crystal wrote on Facebook. “MAN, I missed these things!!”

Last month, the family announced Ernest Ray Lynn had to undergo “a critical surgery” and is suffering from kidney failure.

A week later, Crystal Lynn said Ernest was being allowed to “go home to heal.”

“NONE of this would’ve been possible without YOUR FAITH, our almighty GOD, and YOUR prayers and support!!” she posted. “Thank you ALL for being part of our support system. Thank you ALL for caring enough to take the time to pray for us. Thank you ALL for being part of GOD’s army. We are ETERNALLY grateful.

“You are our heroes.”
