Beth Thames: Loyalty to the Girl Scouts and their cookies

I was hijacked last week by a group of Girl Scouts. I thought I was free and clear and safely in the doorway of my neighborhood grocery store, but then I heard the siren’s call of the cookie venders and put myself in reverse. The Scouts were on the corner, ponytailed and neatly dressed in jeans and tee shirts and sneakers.
