On the final Sunday of the NFL’s 2023 regular season, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry became Alabama’s NFL career rushing leader.
By gaining 153 yards on 19 carries in a 28-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Jan. 7, “King Henry” lifted his career rushing total to 9,502 yards in eight NFL seasons.
That moved Henry past Shaun Alexander for the top spot on Alabama’s NFL rushing list. Alexander ran for 9,453 yards in nine NFL seasons.
