NBA skills challenge free live stream (2/17): How to watch online, TV, time

The NBA skills challenge is set for Saturday, Feb. 17, in Indianapolis as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend. The event will be live streamed on Sling, which offers half off the first month, and on DirecTV Stream (free trial).

Three teams consisting of three players will participate in the challenge, which features a five-event team relay, a passing contest and a shooting competition. If the teams are tied after the three rounds, they will take turns attempting to sink as many half-court shots as they can over an allotted amount of time in order to determine a winner.

When is skills challenge?

The skills challenge, part of the NBA All-Star Weekend which includes the slam dunk contest and the 3-point contest, starts at 7 p.m. (8 p.m. ET) on Saturday, Feb. 17. The event starts about 7:15 p.m. (8:15 p.m. ET).

Will it be live streamed?

Sling

Sling is also one of the cheaper live streaming services. It offers three different channel packages for its users: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange + Blue.

All three packages are offering half off the first month.

Sling Blue and Sling Orange are both $40 per month ($20 for the first month), but offer different channel selections.
