Muscle Shoals police say a man died Thursday in an apparent workplace accident.

First responders were called to Southland Safes on Alabama 20 at about 4:49 p.m. Thursday.

When police arrived, they found the body of a man in the business’ warehouse.

Detectives and officers gathered evidence from the scene and determined that the man, whose name has not been released, had been the victim of a workplace accident.

“MSPD would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the family of the deceased,” the department said in a statement.
