Wendy’s brought back this limited-time fish sandwich for Lent

There’s good news for fans of Wendy’s Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich. The popular sandwich is now back on Wendy’s menus nationwide, but only for a limited time.

The sandwich has been available on the fast food chain’s menu since Feb. 12 and will be available until late March for the season of Lent. This year, Wendy’s says the beloved fish sandwich will be available at over 4,800 Wendy’s menus nationwide.

The Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich features an Alaska Pollock fillet coated in crispy panko breading topped with lettuce, a slice of American cheese, pickles and creamy dill tartar sauce, all served on a warm, soft bun.

More new items on the Wendy’s menu

Last month, Wendy’s added a breakfast burrito to its lineup. The dish includes two fresh cracked eggs and six strips of oven-baked, applewood smoked bacon – the same amount of bacon found on the fan-favorite Baconator.

Wendy’s has also teamed up with Cinnabon to add a new item to its breakfast menu— “Cinnabon Pull-Aparts.” The pull-aparts are made from sweetened dough that’s dunked in a glaze then baked with cinnamon, brown butter and sugar. The pastry is topped with Cinnabon’s signature cream cheese frosting. The cinnamon-roll-type breakfast dish will be available beginning February 26, reports CNN.
