The Class 6A boys showdown between No. 1-ranked Buckhorn and No. 4 Clay-Chalkville highlights Day 3 of action in the AHSAA regional basketball tournaments across the state.

The Bucks and Cougars will tip at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Regional in Hanceville. In the noon game at Wallace State, Hazel Green continues it quest for an unprecedented seventh straight girls title against Clay-Chalkville. No girls or boys team had ever won six straight.
