Alabama woman set on fire runs to neighbors for help, flown to hospital

A woman is being treated for serious burns after police say she was doused with gasoline and set on fire Tuesday.

The incident happened in Priceville about 9 p.m. on North Bethel Road, according to WAFF.

Priceville Police Chief Jerry Holmes told WHNT that the woman ran to a neighboring residence for help. It is unclear whether one person or several are responsible.

The woman was flown from the scene to a hospital for treatment.
