It is no secret that Christian McCaffrey is one of the most electric playmakers in the NFL. The 27-year-old possesses elite explosiveness that can do major damage on any play.

That explosiveness has been on full display in the playoffs. McCaffrey ran for a 39-yard touchdown in the Wild Card round against the Packers, then broke free for a 25-yard run in the NFC Championship game against the Lions.

If the Chiefs are going to repeat as Super Bowl champions, they are going to need solid contributions from Isiah Pacheco. Pacheco has been on a roll lately, and we like his chances of staying hot with a Super Bowl 58 touchdown.

The 24-year-old running back had just four touchdowns to his name through Week 11 of the NFL regular season. But since then, he has been finding the end zone on a consistent basis.

Pacheco scored five touchdowns in his last four games of the regular season, and has touchdowns in all three of Kansas City’s postseason games thus far. He also scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl against the Eagles last year.

In addition, what makes this bet appealing is Pacheco’s pass-catching abilities. Pacheco had just 13 catches in his rookie season, but totaled 44 receptions for two touchdowns this season. With an expanded role in the passing game, Pacheco has more than one way to find the end zone in Super Bowl 58.

Isiah Pacheco has seen his role in the Kansas city offense expand over the past few weeks. The second-year running back averaged 14.6 carries per game in the regular season, but he has gotten more opportunities in the playoffs.

Pacheco saw 24 carries in the Wild Card round against the Dolphins, 15 carries in the Divisional round against the Bills, and 24 carries in the AFC Championship game against the Ravens. He has shined in his expanded role, running for 4.0 yards per carry and scoring a touchdown in all three playoff games. Given his success, it would be surprising to see Kansas City stray from Pacheco in the Super Bowl.

It’s also worth noting that Pacheco performed well in last year’s Super Bowl as a rookie. The Rutgers product ran for 76 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries (5.1 yards per carry).

His role has only gotten bigger since then, and he has gained more trust from the Kansas City coaching staff. With that in mind, look for Pacheco to get more than 15.5 rush attempts in Super Bowl 58.
