Jilted ex-lovers can take out revenge without involving the police this Valentine’s Day by giving a $25 donation to a Mobile cat rescue group.

PURRfect Partners of Mobile will name a feral cat they’ve captured after your ex before neutering the tom and releasing the newly snipped feline back into the community.

“Let’s have some fun! Donate $25 and we will name a feral cat after your ex and give them the snip snip!” the organization said in announcing the promotion last week. “After donating, send an email to [email protected] with the name of your Ex.”

“We were able to provide TNR (trap, neuter, return) services for 199 cats in 2023, but it takes significant funding,” the group said on its Facebook page Thursday night. “Let’s beat that number in 2024!”

As of early Thursday evening, the group raised $255.
