Class of 2025 4-star safety Kendarius Reddick flips from Auburn, commits to UCF
Auburn’s 2025 class lost a pledge Saturday night as 4-star safety Kendarius Reddick flipped his commitment from Auburn to UCF.
Reddick had previously been committed to the Tigers since Oct. 19, 2023.
Reddick’s flip to UCF comes eight days after Auburn’s former director of recruiting and football relations Trovon Reed was hired away from The Plains to join Gus Malzahn’s staff at UCF as the Knights’ cornerbacks coach. Reed’s new gig in Orlando marks his first on-field coaching job.
In Reddick, who is listed as an athlete by 247 Sports, the Knights are getting the 11th-ranked safety in the 2025 class and the 17th-ranked prospect — regardless of position — out of the state of Georgia.
With Reddick seemingly out of the boat, Auburn’s sixth-ranked 2025 recruiting class currently features seven players: 4-star defensive lineman Malik Autry, 4-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, 4-star edge rusher Jakaleb Faulk, 4-star defensive lineman Jourdin Crawford, 3-star offensive lineman Kalen Edwards, 3-star tight end Ryan Ghea and 3-star offensive lineman Spencer Dowland.
