On Saturday at 3:52 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Sunday between midnight and noon for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

“East to southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected,” says the weather service. “The highest wind gusts will likely occur closer to the coast.”

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”
