A Childersburg man was killed in a crash with a tractor-trailer in Talladega County.

Alabama State Troopers on Thursday identified the fatality victim as Marcus E. Crawford. He was 43.

The wreck happened at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 280 near Tanner Circle.

Crawford was driving a Ford Explorer that struck a Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by Claude D. Wilson, 62, of Kellyton, said Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey.

Crawford was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing by troopers.
