Search underway for 2 teens missing from Bessemer in separate disappearances
Authorities are searching for two teens missing from Bessemer in separate disappearances.
Damari Philip Jr., 16, was last about 3 p.m. Saturday at his home in Bessemer.
His mother told police she returned to their residence to find him gone. She said his gaming console and some of clothing was also missing.
Family said Damari could possibly be trying to get to Ft. Lauderdale.
Damari is a Black male, 5-feet, 6-inches tall, and weighs 140 pounds.
Ervin Perez Santos, 18, was last seen at his Bessemer home in the Sunday’s early-morning hours.
Santos’ mother told officers that she doesn’t know if he left the house on foot or was picked up by someone but has not had any contact with him since Sunday morning.
Santos is a Hispanic male, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall, and weighs 200 pounds.
Santos was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, a white baseball cap and black Nike Air Force One shoes.
