You know it’s Mardi Gras in Mobile when the Conde Cavaliers start to celebrate.

The crewe celebrated its 47th annual Mardi Gras ball on Friday, January 25, at the Mobile Civic Center.

The kickoff parade of the downtown Mardi Gras season was threatened by rain in the days leading up to the celebration, but the evening turned out to be very pleasant as 38,657 people came out to cheer on the Condes.
